Environmental Disclosure for the Electricity Products of Inspire Energy Holdings, LLC
For 07/01/2023 - 06/30/2024
The disclosure of this information is required under Section 16‐127 of the Electric Service Customer Choice and Rate Relief Law of 1997 and the rules of the Illinois Commerce Commission, 83 Ill Admin. Code 421.
The below data reflects the mix of electricity sources in the PJM region. You will not have electricity from a specific generation facility delivered directly to your service address, but Inspire ensures that the applicable percentage of your electricity usage is offset by the generation of energy from renewable resources on an annual basis. Inspire does so by purchasing and retiring ‘renewable energy attributes’ or ‘renewable energy certificates’ representing the environmental attributes associated with the applicable amount of renewable energy generation from the renewable sources specified for your product. Your purchase helps support the development and operation of renewable energy in the areas specified for your product.
Exhibit A: Sources of Electricity Table
Sources of electricity supplied from 07/01/2023 - 06/30/2024
Exhibit B: Sources of Electricity Chart
Sources of electricity supplied from 07/01/2023 - 06/30/2024
Exhibit C: Air Emissions
AVERAGE AMOUNTS OF EMISSIONS and AMOUNT OF NUCLEAR WASTE per 1,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) PRODUCED from KNOWN(1) SOURCES for the 12 months ending 06/30/2024.
- 100% of the total electricity supplied was purchased from other suppliers and the amounts of emissions and amount of nuclear waste attributable to producing this electricity is not known and is not included in this table.
- By connecting to the local energy grid, the electricity you receive comes from a mix of energy sources. You will not receive electricity from any specific generation facility delivered directly to your service address, however, Inspire ensures that 100% of your electricity consumption is sourced from renewable energy generation facilities or otherwise paired with Renewable Energy Certificates (“RECs”) from renewable energy generation facilities located in the U.S. By purchasing RECs to match your electricity usage and retiring them in a regional generation attribute tracking system, we enable you to directly support the continued use and development of renewable electricity. Increased demand for, and generation of, renewable electricity helps reduce carbon emissions and provides other local and global environmental benefits in the region where the renewable electricity generator is located.
